Tony`s Brick Oven in Hillsville

The meatlovers pizza was a little disappointing. But everything else was great. The service was great. The atmosphere was great. The other pizzas were good too!

The lasagna was pretty good. I really like the sauce. The fried mozzarella was in cubes that were a pretty good size. Unfortunately, because of the size, they didn't get cooked as thoroughly as we'd have liked. There was still some 'cheese stretch' on the outside, but inside they were only warm. We really liked the pizza crust, but as with most pizza joints nowadays, they could stand to put on more sauce. These are only minor issues, and we intend to return.

We ordered the shrimp pizza with some custom toppings and it was very good! I will be back to try the gumbo pizza!

Had lunch there yesterday. Service was excellent even amid all the mask hysteria.Food was flavorful but the 12" $15.75 Downtown's Supreme pizza which supposedly came with pepperoni, sausage and capicolla had SO LITTLE meat on it that a Vegetarian could have eaten it without noticing. Place really skimps on the meat.Took home half the pizza to add my own pepperoni for lunch today.

Soild pizza place. Would totally come here again. It's got the right feel and the service was very attentive and friendly.

This is the best Pizza and Pasta I have ever had. The service was awesome and fast. Pizzas are made fresh to order, with fresh ingredients. They have several different pizza sauces, my favorite is the robust tomato sauce. The fried mozzarella was amazing as well. The coke tasted amazing like coke should. I live 6.5 hours away from here, but definitely will be coming back anytime I can.

Pizza is excellent and the kids really enjoyed watching them work the dough. The pasta was q big hit with the kiddos too. And they have the little a birthday cannoli! Great service

The gumbo pizza and tuna florentine were delicious. You can't go wrong eating at this place. The music and service was great!!!

This place is the best! Most welcoming staff ever.

Me and my wife had a great time. The food was good and the staff was very friendly. We were there on a Saturday night and didn't have to wait for a table and the place was full which is always a good sign. The bathrooms were nice and clean which is a plus. My wife really enjoyed the lasagna and I really liked the pizza and the breadsticks were great. If your looking for an inexpensive brick oven pizza I would suggest trying this place out.

When I walked in the place was packed! But the staff found me a table almost immediately (I was dining alone) and were very efficient in taking my order. I was definitely not disappointed in the food either. My slight change to the toppings offered on the Supreme Pizza (allergies) were taken down and delivered as requested. The flavors were delicious and the pizza cooked perfectly. I am sad that I do not live closer so that I could return again and again.

They actually know how to make a great pie in a properly hot oven. Great selection of beers in tap and prices are just right. Fast, friendly and professional service. When you see the owner tossing the pizza before sliding it into the brick oven, you know that you have gone to the right restaurant.

Arrived about 115 pm. Took awhile to order drinks. Orderedhalf and half pizza. The woman servint.cg us was so busy talking to 0some guy at the bar that our pizza was cold when she brought it to the table. It was terrible. Pizza is served hot - not cold. I wont be back.

Tony's has a great lunch special with two slices of pizza and a salad. Nice variety of items on the menu and everything I've had has been good.

We went to the restaurant on Father's day, we a party of 5 order some starters they never arrived when we asked about it the waitress said oh I forgot only to 2 families at the restaurant at that time. The women's bathroom is another story the soap was broke and dirty napkins around. The food was delicious but the waitress the old lady need to remember the orders because we came as a family to enjoy a very special day and this made my family angry.

Best pizza, tried the Downtown Supreme, and that's what it was, supreme! Waitress Katie/Catie was the best as well! Been to alot of pizza places from here to Louisiana, this topped them all!

I always get the lasagna and phillip always gets pizza and both are always great.

Some of the best pizza hands down on the coast. Absolutely love the gumbo Pizza. The staff is always been excellent. I haven't had a bad meal here ever. Atmosphere is very fun and Light. So highly recommended

Diane had chicken and pineapple and I had beef, pepperoni and mushrooms both on the marinara sauce with a 4 cheese blend. The menu says thin crust but we didn't feel it was thin enough to say that. It was probably a good medium between regular and thin. Regardless, we enjoyed it. The chicken was very well seasoned and all the ingredients seemed fresh. Overall we really enjoyed it. You could taste the distinct difference of the brick oven. The staff i interacted with was helpful and friendly. Two thumbs up! 👍👍

Discovered this little place downtown Gulfport. Love it amazing customer service. Pizza Great, Shrimp salad amazing, and please if you go get the spinach and artichoke appetizer it was amazing. Atmosphere has low light great for date night!!

Service was awesome. But the pizza was lacking. We had a half supreme and half gumbo. The pizza almost tasted like it wasn't fully cooked. Maybe I'm just not a fan of roux on pizza. Who knows. The mozzarella appetizer was pretty good and came out with 2 styles of marinara sauce. Definitely couldn't complain about the house wine either. We went on a weekday and the place was still pretty packed so they must be doing something right!

Service was a little slow due to the huge lunch crowd, but the food was delicious and adequately priced. I definitely would go back, even if it is a little pricier than most pizza places. They serve more than just pizza too. But they have a good lunch deal on pizza if you want cheese or pepperoni.

Ordered a Large supreme. Pizza was cold, tasteless, and without a doubt the smallest Large Pizza I have ever seen. I asked the server ivf the pizza was large, and she said yes, it is 8 slices. Well....It was 8 slices. But the smallest ever. Get a frozen pizza if this is all there is. Save your dough.

I was the first table of 4, sat. 8th of Feb. 2020. The waitress's had on yesterday's dirty apron's on. I asked for blue cheese on my salad, got balsamic. Wanted a tuna fish sandwich, got a red hunk of tuna, was so, so spicy, I could get only take one bite. Pizza was good.

Nice little cozy place around the downtown district of Gulfport. They had a full bar and plenty of seating for large groups. The menu was plentiful and so was the portion. I ordered the margherita pizza and it tasted fresh. The sauce was really good and so were the toppings (didn't taste like canned ingredients). After a few slices I was full and ended up saving the rest for dinner.

The pizza was very good. I had the Margherita pizza and it tasted like it was fresh out of Europe. The pizzas did take a while to cook, but the waitress checked on us a lot and was nice. I ate the whole pizza!

Delicious pizza! We got half Downtown Supreme, half Gumbo. Yes, Gumbo pizza. It was delicious. We got a no-sauce cheese pizza for the kids. They declared it "the best pizza in the world". The waitress also gave each of the kids a small ball of dough to play with while we waited for our food. Way more effective than coloring pages. The fried mozzarella was also surprisingly good. I especially liked the no-heat salsa they gave as a dipping sauce (they also included a cup of marinara).

The best pizzeria on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I go here every summer when I visit family. You need to ask for "parmesan vinaigrette" on the side. You can dip almost anything in it. DELICIOUS! I recommend the appetizers rather than the actual pizza. Not an expensive place, so long as you're not ordering alcohol. Expect to pay $8-15 per person.

The pizza is great and the pasta dishes are fantastic as well. Service is adequate. Prices are good for location and better than some comparable places downtown.

Been a while since we have been here. Appetizer came out fast. Downhill after that. Took a while to get refills, we had to call our waitress over. She doesn't know what's on tap, she just kept saying I just press the button on the screen. We watched people get there food, eat then leave, and we didn't get ours. Then I finally called over another waitress she said she'd check. Our waitress came back out and said she was upset because she knows she gave them our ticket, it's an hour later at this point. She said she put it in rush now. So now 30 more minutes later our pizza came out. We were asked for our address so a manager could send us a gift card for the horrible service. I waited to po

You have to try this place. The service and food is AMAZING. Diane our server was so friendly and added to our overall experience in loving this place. The roasted garlic appetizer was like nothing I've ever had and highly recommend. Ordered the margarita pizza and two others made from scratch. When I joked with Diane about needing TONS of ranch - she delivered. Not only did she hook us up with their delicious home made ranch, she ran after me out the door to give me some for my take home box. I don't want to miss out on also giving a shout out to the rest of their staff. The hostess saved our table, the chefs in their open kitchen were friendly and inviting and the buss-boy was the sweetest, ensuring we had a great time and that we traveled home safely. True southern hospitality and I loved every second of it. Can't wait to return to their delicious food and great service. I wish I could give more stars than 5.
